Aims:

According to its Statute the PCCPWC:

Coordinates the District Committees for the Protection and Welfare of Children and decides on issues referred to by them.

Deals with issues regarding the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and proposes measures for the full implementation of its provisions.

Examines and deals with issues of Child Protection and Welfare on a Pancyprian basis. 

Liaises and works with similar International and European Organizations towards the full implementation of the CRC world-wide.
